Description	Bundle of 51 letters and postcards to and from Edith Garvie covering January to July 1961. This bundle includes typed letters written while she was on the ship the "Kenya Castle" on her way to Uganda. Many of the letters discuss her work and social life as well as responses to events happening back home in Scotland. The large letters are all numbered. Some of the letters include newspaper clippings. Many have later annotations, and/or descriptions added by Edith Garvie.
